Review: Shadowlight by Lynn Viehl
From the Publisher
With just one touch, Jessa Bellamy can see anyone’s darkest secrets, thanks to whoever tampered with her genes. What she doesn’t know is that a biotech company has discovered her talent and intends to kill her and harvest her priceless DNA...
Gaven Matthias is forced to abduct Jessa himself so he can protect her, but Jessa has a hard time believing the one man whose secrets she can’t read. As a monstrous assassin closes in and forces them to run, Jessa will have to find another way to discover if Matthias is her greatest ally—or her deadliest enemy.
I love this series and this one is no exception. It is a bit of a departure from the previous ones in this series. It focuses more on the children that were experimented on and is the story of the romance between Gaven Mathias and Jessa Bellamy/aka Minerva. They are not really Dark Kyn cause they are not forced to drink blood to survive. They do have the extras like superstrength, immortality, and usually an extra power of some kind. We know Jenna's power and gradually we are introduced to more Takyn as Jessa calls them and I for one like this shift. It eliminates some of the problems the newly converted Dark Kyn ladies have experienced but they get all the goodies including their soul mate. I am so looking forward to Rowan and Drew's books. I loved this book so every one that likes paranormal books should run buy this one cause it rocked my socks. It has to be the one of the best books i've read all year. I give it a five aces. And that cover don't it make you just want to bite something lol
