Kick Ass Heroine Reading Challenge
The Kick Ass Heroine Reading Challenge is hosted by Diva's Bookcase. She has set up a separate blog for this challenge which I think is a fantastic idea! You all know that I love Wonder Woman so when I saw the button for this challenge, I knew I had to sign up! This is my first ever challenge and some of the books I'll be reading are
Shadowfever by Karen Renee Morning
Kitty Goes to War by Carrie Vaughn
Ecstasy in Darkness by Gena Showalter
Not sure what else but I love me some PNR and UF both of which have lots of Kick Ass Heroines
Challenge Rules
Challenge starts Jan 1 and ends Dec 31, 2011
Deadline to enter is Nov 1, 2011
Objective is to read at least twelve (12) books featuring kick ass heroines (heroines do not have to be the main character, but a big part of the story)
Books must be read in 2011
When entering the challenge, you do not have to make a list of books you plan to read. You may add and delete books at any time.
A direct link to reviews of all books read (that have been already posted to your blog or profile-Goodreads, Library Thing, etc) for this challenge must be posted to the review linky to count
Challenge Books
Books can be from any genre
Books can be print, audiobooks, ebooks, advanced reader's copies
Books must be full length novels. Novellas and short stories do not count for this challenge
Books can be crossovers (books read for another book challenge)
Monthly Giveaways
There will be twelve giveaways-one for each month and open internationally (if you'd like to donate, please go here)
Diva's Bookcase will randomly pick a winner from each month's review linky
Prizes may be in the form of swag, books, gift certificates, and other bookish goodies
As of right now, international winners will receive gift certificates from Book Depository,
This sounds like so much fun and possibly addicting. We'll see lol.
