Bear shifter Grant wants his beautiful boss, Shayla. Will he risk his job and his barely healed heart to convince her to be his everything?
After sexy bear shifter Grant lost his girlfriend and three best friends in a fire, he decided he was done with love, done with people, done with pretty much everything. One woman has him rethinking his whole strategy.
As his boss, Shayla is off-limits, so Grant keeps his feelings for her under wraps until…the attraction doesn't seem so one-sided. Grant takes a risk and lays a piece of his heart on the line. When things get hotter than he could have imagined, Grant wonders- will some of his darker desires be too much for Shayla or will she embrace the needs he's kept hidden for so long?
A reporter who covered the bombing Shayla survived three years before is convinced the only reason Shayla survived is because she's some type of bionic medical experiment or superhuman freak. When the reporter ropes Shayla's angry ex, Hunter into the mix, Shayla's business and her life are on the line. Can she and Grant trust in each other and find a way to slay all the obstacles that stand in their way?

INTERVIEW
1. Please tell us something unique about you that we
can’t learn from your bio.
I started watching UFC fights to get a better idea of how to write
a fight scene and now I’m hooked.
2. What’s your favorite part of
writing?
I love when all of my ideas come together to start to form a
clearer picture of the story. When I get to that point, the pages start to
flow.
3. What’s the strangest thing you’ve learned while
researching a book?
I found all sorts of different legends and folklore about
monsters. Aaron Carter, a side character from Bear’s Edge is a soul stealer,
based loosely on the soul eater’s characteristics in the folklore of the Hausa
people of Niger and Nigeria. Aaron doesn’t actually steal souls, but with
nothing more than a purposeful touch he can make people sick or crazy or both.
4. If you could live in one of your stories, which
one would you choose and why?
I would live in book #1 of the Blackstone Beach series. I’m
working on this one right now and since it’s getting cold in Virginia, I’m
wishing for a sunny spot in the sand by the ocean. A constant view of muscled,
tattooed men playing volleyball or surfing would also be great.
5. What stories do you have in the works right now?
I’m working on book 3 in the Stranger Creatures series. Detective
Nikki Jackson finally gets her own story! I also decided to try my hand at writing
a contemporary romance. I’m now about halfway finished with book 1 in the
Blackstone Beach series which will feature some handsome firefighters and
mercenaries from Blackstone Beach.

About Christina Lynn Lambert
A few years ago, I read my first romance novel and I was hooked, so much so that I decided to give the idea of writing a story a chance. My style is more gritty than sweet and I look forward to writing many more stories with strong heroines and imperfect but determined characters. Love, courage, hope, and second chances are a few of my favorite themes. When I'm not writing, I enjoy spending time with my family, usually hiking or swimming or finding a new place to explore.
