Review: No Mercy by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Product Description

Live fast, fight hard and if you have to die then take as many of your enemies with you as you can. That is the Amazon credo and it was one Samia lived and died by. Now in contemporary New Orleans, the immortal Amazon warrior is about to learn that there’s a worse evil coming to slaughter mankind than she’s ever faced before.

Shapeshifter Dev Peltier has stood guard at the front of Sanctuary for almost two hundred years and in that time, he’s seen it all. Or so he thought. Now their enemies have discovered a new source of power- one that makes a mockery of anything faced to date.

The war is on and Dev and Sam are guarding ground zero. But in order to win, they will have to break the most cardinal of all rules and pray it doesn’t unravel the universe as we know it.

Oh man I loved this book. SK has done it again. She rocked the Dark-Hunter world. And oh man the dogs of War are fantastic. I love Samia. She was hell on wheels with the exception of a child. They are her Achilles heel. And I've always been a little bit in love with Dev. But we found out more about him and the Pelitiers than we knew before. And can I say Nick and Artie eew eew eew and double eew. Didn't see that one and am so hoping that they don't end up together. And it was good to see that the changes SK is putting in Nick's books is affecting the Dark-Hunter series. I believe that is what those shudders Nick is dealing with are from. Or I do hope so. I can't wait for the one of her books. I bought this one all by lonesome and give it 4 1/2 stars.
