Review: Archangel's Enigma by Nalini Singh
Naasir is the most feral of the powerful group of vampires and angels known as the Seven, his loyalty pledged to the Archangel Raphael. When rumors surface of a plot to murder the former Archangel of Persia, now lost in the Sleep of the Ancients, Naasir is dispatched to find him. For only he possesses the tracking skills required—those more common to predatory animals than to man.
Enlisted to accompany Naasir, Andromeda, a young angelic scholar with dangerous secrets, is fascinated by his nature—at once playful and brilliant, sensual and brutal. As they race to find the Sleeping archangel before it’s too late, Naasir will force her to question all she knows...and tempt her to walk into the magnificent, feral darkness of his world. But first they must survive an enemy vicious enough to shatter the greatest taboo of the angelic race and plunge the world into a screaming nightmare…
First off let me say if you've not read Nalini's books what the heck are you waiting for. Everything I've read of hers rocked my socks. This one was just the latest book in the continuing angel saga and I really really want me a Naasir. He is fabulous. Smart, sexy and lethal as any of the seven are. Andromeda for being such a young angel is smart, funny, and tough as old boot leather. With Andromeda and Naasir being tasked with finding the Sleeping Ancient Archangel she'll need to be at the top of her game and have Naasir's help. But their enemies are ruthless and Andi is taken before they can be off. Naasir goes after her with Jason's help they get her back. And when Andi and Naasir start on their journey to find Alexander.this book becomes impossible to put down. I don't want to give too much about the ending but I just wanted to say that Andi has big brass ones. She has no qualms with telling an ancient off rofl.
I bought this book with my own hardearned money and I give it 5+ stars.
